MCB Senior Management

James E. Crites - President and Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining MCB, Mr. Crites served as Senior Vice President/Eastern Caribbean Region Credit Officer of FirstBank Puerto Rico. Prior to that, Mr. Crites was President and Chief Executive Officer of First Virgin Islands Federal Savings Bank from 1992 until 2000. He was Managing Agent/Managing Agent Reserve for the Resolution Trust Corporation from 1990 to 1992, and Vice President for Chemical Bank New Jersey (formerly Horizon Bancorp) from 1987 until 1990. Mr. Crites' banking career began in 1973 with the Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. He has been active in U.S. Virgin Islands business and civic activities for many years. His activities have included, among others, serving as President and Vice President of the Virgin Islands Bankers Association, President of the Institute of Teaching and Learning, Treasurer of Harmonic Lodge #356, Director of the Center for Independent Living, President and Secretary of the Rotary Club of St. Thomas, President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Antilles School, Inc., Campaign Chair for United way of St. Thomas/St. John, and Director for the Virgin Islands Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Jimmy L. Bethea - Chief Lending Officer

Mr. Bethea joined MCB during its formation, and has served as Chief Lending Officer since its inception. In addition to his two (2) years working with MCB, Mr. Bethea's banking experience includes ten (10) years of structured corporate finance and commercial lending experience while working with Chase Manhattan Bank, in New York, the United States Virgin Islands, and the British Virgin Islands, serving financial institution and commercial clients. Mr. Bethea also worked with the National Cooperative Bank in Washington, DC as a Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for three (3) years. In addition to his banking experience, Mr. Bethea spent five (5) years as an entrepreneur providing management and financial consulting services to technology and engineering companies, through his own consulting firm, and doing residential and commercial real estate acquisitions and restorations as a principal. Mr. Bethea also spent two (2) years as a Town Manager for a North Carolina Municipality, and two (2) years as a Management Trainee at Consolidated Edison Company of New York. Mr. Bethea has served on Chamber of Commerce, Historic Society, and Community Development Corporation Boards in North Carolina and serves on the Advisory Council at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke School of Business.

Anette C. Williams - Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Williams' banking experience includes 13 years with First Virgin Islands Federal Savings Bank where she was vice president and chief financial officer until 2000 when it was acquired by FirstBank Puerto Rico. She was employed by FirstBank Puerto Rico from 2000 to 2004 after which she spent one year with Cornerstone Strategies LLC, (a real estate management company) as its accounting manager. Ms. Williams is a certified public accountant and served as Treasurer and Vice President of the Rotary Club of St. Thomas II, Treasurer of the Virgin Islands Conference of the Moravian Church, board member of St. Thomas/St. John Moravian School and President of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority Inc.
